Streets and Places of Singapore (total of two volumes) is a collection of writings that explores the stories, memories, and lives connected to Singapore’s streets and places, weaving together a tapestry of the nation’s past, present, and future. In this special tour, TrendLit Publishing joins hands with veteran historian and curator Mr. Lee Kok Leong to lead participants on an immersive walk through some of the streets and stories featured in the collection. This unique experience blends history, literary narrative, and personal reflection—an invitation to step into the very streets where these memories unfolded. About the Tour Guide: Lee Kok Leong has a strong interest in Cantonese culture. His book Guangdong Majie (广东妈姐) and Breaking the Waves (大眼鸡·越洋人) were shortlisted as the best books in 2016 and 2018, respectively. His research was used to set up the Kwong Wai Shiu Hospital Heritage Gallery and the Kwong Wai Siew Peck San Theng Heritage Gallery. He is the co-author of the book Will Singapore still exist in 100 years? (100年后新加坡还存在吗?) published in 2023.
