Comic Art Workshop

This workshop introduces participants to the art and culture of comic drawing. Through a combination of visual presentation, show-and-tell examples, and guided practice, participants will gain an appreciation of comics as a form of storytelling and creative expression. An introduction to the history and cultural significance of comics, highlighting different styles and traditions from around the world. Participants will explore how comics combine art and narrative to communicate ideas, humour, and social themes. Participants will learn basic comic drawing techniques, including character expressions, simple panel composition, and visual storytelling methods.
